Turka, Finland has been named the European Capital of Culture for 2011 and they are searching for project proposals. They have announced an open project call and are now looking for new and innovative projects and the best people/organizations to present them. The year long celebration will be implemented through extensive national and international cooperation, and will be comprised of about 300 projects, with the aim of finding most through the open call.
